English Essay Writing
What is an essay? An essay is a short composition for
treatment of a particular topic in a methodical and orderly . Etymologically ,
it means an attempt to express one's mind about a given object. Dr. Johnson ,
the famous literary essayist , defines it as " a loose out of mind, an
irregular and disorderly composition . " Walker thinks of it as a short
essay , incomplete and unsystematic. Bacon defined as " ' dispersed
meditations " . An essay can be written on any subject. Can be moody or
logical , auto ¬ biography or satirical, very imaginative or playful .
Types of Trials
Trials are generally divided into six categories , namely :
( A) Narrative
( B ) Description
( C) reflective
( D ) Presentation
( E) Argumentative
( F ) Imaginative .
This division is useful as long as it takes account of these
divisions are not unique , and that there are no trials involving more
characteristics of a class instance , a narrative essay can contain a large
amount of description, and a trial May contain descriptive him most of the
reflection.
Essays Narrative :
A narrative essay is the story of an
event or series of events . Composition narrative can be on topics such as the

example, my city , museums , bridges ) .
( Iii ) aspects and phenomena of nature ( such as monsoons ,

3 . Scientific topics (eg , wireless , telephone , radio ,
astronomy , etc. )
4 . Literary themes (eg , the nature of poetry , ¬

Romantic movement ) .
5 . The quotes or sayings (eg , " The child is father
to the man." "Time is money, " Honesty " is the best policy
."
Argumentative Essays :
In an argumentative essay is necessary for the writer to
give their arguments for and against the proposition. Argumentative essays
topics are:
( I ) Who is more useful for the country - the soldier or
teacher ?

Imaginative Essays :

known . The use of such words leads to silly mistakes .
2 . Beware of using too many adjectives . Some people have a
misconception that the abundant use of superlatives makes stronger statements .
3 . Rather, the use of too many adjectives spoils the
overall effect of the trial.
4 . Do not try to air their knowledge through the use of a
word or phrase longer than a shorter and simpler would express the meaning more
effectively.
5 . Avoid using unnecessary words . In reviewing his essay find
duplication and redundant expressions , and beat mercilessly.
6 . They strive to select the words and phrases that express
exactly the ideas you have in mind. Frame your sentences so they seem pretty
clear and forceful .
